360º balloon flight to the edge of space
Take a virtual reality ride on a weather balloon from the bet365 Stadium in Stoke, England up 32,704 metres (107,297ft) to the edge of space.
We attached 6x GoPros in a custom built 360º rig to a weather balloon, which then ascended for 1 hour 39 min at an average speed of 12.3mph into the earth's atmosphere. Once the balloon reached it's maximum height, the balloon burst and came safely back down to earth.
